Came on shift today at 0400hrs.
Drove 9hrs 20mins.
Finished at 1630hrs.
If I take 9hrs off and go on shift at 0130 tomorrow morning to do a 2 and a half hour drive back to base will I be driving illegally due to driving over 10 hours in a 24 hour period?
I suspect I’ll be okay due to having had the 9 hrs off. Confirmation would be appreciated.

Assuming you’re driving to EU regulations that’s fine, the daily driving period is reset by the daily rest period so driving back in the morning will be perfectly legal.
