I’ve looked everywhere for my answer hoping someone can help.

I work for a sewage company on a mix of emergency work and non emergency work. I have not yet passed my class 2 but trying to get my head around the hours I can do as we don’t constantly drive. We are in and out working and driving. Apparently we can exceed the maximum hours due to not constantly driving and the nature of our work. Wondering if someone can confirm this and maybe give more information/ explain this better for me

Domestic regs =
max 11 hours work in any 24 hours (that includes driving time)
max 10 hours driving time in any 24 hours

EU regs =
max 9 hours driving between daily rests but that can be extended to a max of 10 twice in any fixed week
in 24 hours you must have 11 hours rest but that can be reduced to a minimum of 9 three times between any two weekly rests

time spent on domestic regs counts as other work for the EU regs
