Drivers wife needs help

Found this in my inbox and am giving all the help and support I can but as you are nearer you will know more about what’s available across there than me.

Also a friendly mail from your wives would go a long way

Hi,

I am sorry to hear about John, but let me tell you it is just as bad here in the US. My husband was a trucker for 30 years. We live in NC and have 3 children. My husband was approached while trying to load in Mexico. He was asked to haul illegal imigrants across the boarder. He said no to these people numerous times. They told him he would not be involved in loading the imigrants or unloading them. Someone would follow behind him and when he did his regular stops they would unload the people. He told them no again and again. Well he loaded a load of blue jeans and when he went ot cross the boarder they arrested him for drugs in the trailer. I guess they either wanted him to haul immigrants or marijuana and they didn’t take no for an answer because they put something in the trailer anyway. My husband was locked up in El Paso for 19 days. We went to trail and he pleaded not guilty. They didn’t check his phone records even though he gave them permission and they didn’t check for finger prints on anything. We were set up, had a lawyer that sucked who probably worked for the DA and we lost our truck and trailer which was 24 years old. They just don’t look at the whole picture. They are out there to get and punish anyone and not investigate things because then they would have to do manual labor which they are not accustom to. I would like to sue the federal government for everything they have caused us . My husband now sits in federal prison waiting for an appeal which they have probably already made their minds up about before it evens gets close. My family now suffers everday of our life. We only live in a doublewide modular home and not a life style of drug people. Those responsible for this act are still free and doing then same thing to others while innocent people pay for their crimes. I want rest until something is done and I fight everyday. I am now trying to raise money to hire another lawyer. The old lawyer will not even return my calls, answer my messages left with his secretary or respond to my letters. I am signing your petition and if you know of anything that I can do for my husband please write me and let me know.

Sorry for venting but it helps,
Lynn

Ken,
I guess this is directed at our US ex-pats but if there is any moral support we can give from this side , I for one am willing.
I’m just a tad confused though, is Gerald Parham Lynns husband and therefore her e-mail address?
Hope you are all fine,

Salut, David.

Spardo,

Yes it was aimed primarily at our US Ex Pats but we had messages of support from as far away as New Zealand and even Roumania, call them what you will but they did support us when we needed it.
No one can imagine what a boost it is to receive a message of support from the other side of the world or another country, just to know some one else cares is really welcome.
I’m not asking for financial support even though I think that would be welcome but moral suppport is just as important.

As for the address, thats the one I have replied to and it has not been returned so I assume it has reached her

Cheers
