Hi coming from the Kent area I was thinking of booking my driver training with Gordon Springate. Had a long and very helpful conversation with a driver trainer on the phone and have a assessment drive on the 4th of July, I cannot wait counting down the days. I just wondered if anyone had used this company? or if they had any any thoughts, or advice?.
Thanks

Hi Holmes22,
At least one TN member has used Gordon Springate for their driver training because his name appears on the TN list of recommended LGV driver training providers just here:
LGV TRAINING TIPS [Reworked 01/02/2022] (Read only) - #5 by rog - NEW AND WANNABE DRIVERS (INTERACTIVE) - Trucknet UK
A training provider appears on that list only when a TN member writes a recommendation, usually after they have had a good service at a sensible price, so it looks like you’ve made a good choice.
Any chance you could do a training blog/photo-diary please?
dieseldave, Thank you very much for the reply, a point in the right directon goes along way in this day and age of so called training companys and training agency’s looking to have people over. I’m not saying they are all bad, but the agency I spoke to first of all seemed to be reading a sales pitch off of a computer screen.
It would great to wright a blog for TN, is there a selected forum for this or would I just post on this current forum?
Regards
Blog in this forum is the usual place to do a LGV training one

Hi Holmes22,
I’d suggest that you just post it in this forum please.
If you wish, you could start a new topic called ’ ■■■ training blog’ or ‘■■■ photo-diary’ to let readers know what to expect.
Then you’ll probably get some advice on anything that you’re finding difficult, because we have several training providers and instructors as members on TN.
Good luck with your training.
Thank you both for your help.
Indeed as soon as I start the blog will start.
Regards
