Some one better at links than me could link it , but reading about the Morrisons agency driver ( on motor transport news ) there saying he shouldn’t have been involved in unloading !!, it’s not my memory of morr shops , they unloaded you .
But I’m still intrigued by the shouldn’t have been involved in the unloading process, does that apply everywhere , could open a can of worms .
Pay out isn’t bad either is it !!
Edit, The link appears to have changed to be for registered readers only.
My guess would be he hadn’t had, and been signed off, on sufficient training to cover the task.
Our place new staff (or ones coming back again) have 2 days in the office (classroom?) with trainers before they have a few days alongside another driver, before being out on their own. That is agency or new starters direct.
Unless it’s changed? I only did a few subby shifts for them about 4 years back and yeh the store did everything.
