Driver needed for ITV Programme

Fastrantiger:
Why a ‘C’ licence? Joe public wouldn’t know the difference between a 7.5 tonner driven by someone on a car licence and an 18 tonner driven on a ‘C’ licence.

Given that the average driver 7.5 tonner has never had any training other than for a car licence, then there is every possibility that the HGV driver will be portrayed in a less than good light.

Does the programmer know the difference between a 7.5 tonner and an 18 tonner? How’s he going to hire one without an O licence?

Sorry Mr Programmer, but unless you are going to use an artic you’re wasting your time.

PS LICENCE is not spelt LICENSE unless you live in the USA

Thats better

Well said that man!!

Oh wait - just thought of an idea!! :bulb:

Don’t bother - let’s ban all LGVs from London. Let the cyclists ride in peace!

What with the unloading restrictions, Congestion Charge and the Low Emission Zone it’s getting to be such a pain in the arse. :imp:

dont even get me started on traffic wardens…use to do a weekly 7 drop run down to london and the only place i never got a ticket was whilst i was unloading outside the traffic wardens office at lavender hill, even know i was on a bus route! … and if they are going to give you a ticket i would like it explained to me by someone who can speak coherant english and not just mumble some pigeon/street slang english at me! ok second rant over with…wheres me prozac!..
