what happens if you sit on your hand for 30 minutes until it goes numb, can you pretend it was someone else’s ?

I think he deserves that sentence with all his previous convictions. He might come out looking and feeling a bit healthier too maybe!

Bang in the wrong and a justified sentence

This sentence isn’t close to being justified. Kills someone then gets banned for drink driving. I say burn him, he’s a pointless oxygen thief. But that’s just me.

Prison food - the new diet for all

He was banned for a year last year for an unrelated drink driving offence.

He was sentenced this week for the fatal accident which happened in 2014, for which he got six years in prison and a ten year driving ban.

no harm to fatboy for being in the jail for probably the next 2 and 1/2 years or so,but apart from knowing someone looking for a delivery driver, then how could anyone look at him and think, yes, thats the image I want to be representing my company to customers and the general public, plus what could he deliver.he would need to be driving a wagon and drag,as whatever he sits in would be borderline overloading on the front axle…I don’t reckon he would have been hit with a 6 if it hadn’t been a plod wifey he smacked…if it was just some wifey then it might have ben 2 or 4…but there you go…nae luck flubber,

I’ve never understood the whole concept of driving penalties, as if you are caught without insurance, the penalty is generally a fine, some points and a huge jump in insurance premiums that I suspect makes them even less likely to have some! :open_mouth:
Lock them up for a stint…

Considering the cost of insurance for new, young drivers is (usually) thousands and the fine for driving without insurance is hundreds, it’s no wonder people take the risk.

The only solution is to make it financially unviable to get caught.

Or financially viable to insure. My mate had an idea that I reckon has merit. He says insure drivers at a base rate when they first start, instead of starting at the top end and letting you work your way down with ncb’s. Then if you have an at fault, or get convictions, up go’s your premium, as well as you getting fines, etc. Waddaya fink ?

If there was only one insurance company it might work, but as it is the insurance companies that are in at the start would lose out, plus you can’t guarantee that people would even continue to insure or drive. I like the premise, but think there are some issues, just like the concept of you having a mate!

I thought you were my mate.

Yeah, nothing like a good lynching by a baying mob.

PITCHFORKS. … GET YOUR PITCHFORKS…

Why was this fat ■■■■ taken on in the first place. His eyes are half shut due to fat. And how did he even pass a medical?? A local co. to me wont even take on fat out of shape drivers as they rightly say it impacts on image. Danny boy here would no doubt have to take several swings of his leg even to get on the first step into the cab…

It’s better to look like this if you want to avoid jail after killing someone through negligence.
