driver hours

hello, every one.
i,m sure this question has been asked many times and probably still will after this, Driver hours, are they calculated only on time spent driving the vehicle or driving and actual work added together, im asking co,s im doing holidaycover and if i count my actual shift hours(clock on to clock off) i have just done ninety hours in two weeks.but if i only count actual driving time then i have plenty of time left, if any one ask,s i have read the rules on driver hours and tachographs from our vosa boys but it must be me i guess i just cant grassp the thing. :blush:

The clue is in the name, driving hours.

Driving hours are the hours actually recorded as driving on the tachograph

I think he’s got a mod who’s a mate and puts the posts high in the queue for him :wink:

To clarify this a bit (and because I want a break from painting :unamused: ), for EU regulations driving is the time recorded as driving time on the tachograph, for domestic rules driving is the time spent behind the wheel with the engine running, for the purpose of controlling the vehicle.

ROG posted that at 10:41, 2 hours before your post, you just couldn’t see it as his posts have to be pre modded and until then they don’t show up to mere members. :wink: :stuck_out_tongue: Once it is approved it shows up at the time he posted it and in it’s correct place in the thread.
