Hi, looking To have something cleared up as it is causing me a bit confusion.
I work for the local council on refuse collection which I understand is covered by domestic rules when comes to driver regulations, however the lorrys we use are fitted with tachos, does this mean tacho rules must be adheared too? Or does domestic still apply?

You remain on domestic regs and have the choice of using the tacho in out of scope or doing domestic records
The company you work for will usually have a policy on this
Not many lorries these days without tachos fitted - it is the job being done which determines which regs can be used
No just use your book of lies bud,no need for a tacho.we had a space on our check sheet for the details
