Driver facing camera

The company I work for has driver facing cameras in their rigids but has never had them fitted to the artics since the units are usually always hired. They have now bought new units and have fitted driver facing cameras…I was under the impression these were not allowed to he fitted in a vehicle with a bed? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!

This is a point I made a while back on here, several year ago the company I worked At before we were taken over mentioned the driver facing cameras(insurance purposes) The Union kicked off and reminded them they were self insured up to a daft amount and that any spot hire units(which was the norm in double figures at peak times) would also have to be retrofitted with them to make it right, all members would be advised not to take one of these units out as it’s not the new company spec e.t.c,Never heard about the Cameras again…
Work it out yourself but my £16 a month to the Union is worth it just to see them tie the Cabbages up in knots.
