Yeah, difficult to be both but easy to be neither, I just don’t care about it one way or the other. It’s not as if we have to study for it, pass some kind of exam or put any effort into getting it if we don’t want to. Just sit there and pay as much or as little attention as we wish to and if that’s all I have to do in order to use my licence for work so I can carry on earning decent money for doing a ■■■■ easy job I enjoy then it’s no big deal to me, I have better things to do with my time than worry about this.

I think it’s not a brilliant idea, but anything that discourages people from entering the industry has to be a good idea, as it may create a shortage of drivers, this has to be good for the rest of us who, at present are working for a pittance. when I started in 89’ all the old hands told me they made the same money 10 years ago, sadly history repeats itself, the only difference being I was on the same money 15 years ago. More legislation, yes please.
