Due to driver retirement we are looking to recruit a new class 1 driver to join our small team. As one of five drivers you will need to share our vision of providing a customer service above and beyond their expectations.

A genuine general haulage opportunity across the UK with flatbed and curtain work from structural steel, hospitality, festivals and shows to contract curtain work.

No multi-drop work but some nights out will be required.

Based in the central southern area of England if you think you would enjoy working with a different challenge every day and you pride yourself in providing a first class service we are accepting CV’s and applications.

We also provide opportunities to new drivers with limited experience so tell us about yourself.

I wouldn’t get out of bed for less than £20 an hour these days. Anyone driving an HGV should be getting paid a minimum of about £18-20 an hour seen as you’re operating a moving bringer of death. Look at train drivers, latest deal of around £40 an hour give or take! And they don’t even steer the ■■■■ things!! :laughing:

I was on £27k as a new pass in 2004, and that was considered a mediocre wage then!

roughly same here for 40hrs a week granted its shifts so can be earlies or lates . on a rota but set hours home every night. plus at times oportunity to extra few hours or work a rest day. all overtime is time half double pay bankholidays.
