Hi Everyone,

I wonder if you guys can help me, I’ve heard a rumour lately that as long as you keep within a 25 mile radius of your base and that you are carting your own goods (Home goods and diggers for me) that you do not need an Operators license?

I was just wondering if any of you fella’s have heard anything similar or if it is true?

I don’t think that’s correct, there’s a list of operator licence exemptions starting on page 4 here.

I can’t see any exemption that would exclude vehicles operating within a 25 mile radius from needing an operators licence, to be honest I’d be surprised if there was such an exemption.

Perhaps a mix of the agricultural 25 mile range ?
