Our drivers are telling us that the best card for visits across Europe is the DKV Fuel Card as it gives access to a large amount of filling stations, pays tolls, ferries and has a free route planner.
What are you guys thoughts? 
YES it is the most widely used card and can
ensure that when your drivers have problems
they will be on hand to help out(of course
this is not Free)
Brilliant card. 
I never have any trouble using mine and as has been said it can be used for all sorts of situations when things go wrong.
best card there is paid for loads of stuff with it if you know what i mean lol

routex i dont think is far behind exept u cant get t forms with it
uta is better. they get the vat back for you. dkv do not offer a specific vat return service anymore

DKV is a very good card will pay for anything and everything (inc Tobacco) anywhere across Europe including Most road tolls, Go Box and maut etc.etc.
EXCEPT
Italian tolls.
You need to get another card that is available from DKV for the Italian tolls.
