disabled driver

Hi I use a wheelchair to get around I have kept my license and can get a truck adapted ,I was just wondering what rdc or docks policies are on disabled people? anybody no

I have absolutely zero experience of this Pete, but gut instinct tells me that any RDC etc would be absolutely terrified of being accused of any form of discrimination whatsoever and thus would be incredibly accommodating towards any disabled driver. They employ legions of middle managers with little or nothing to do on a day to day basis who’d be desperate to prove their inclusivity credentials.

I have known 3 or 4 people with missing limbs or injuries who continued their jobs, you can bet there will be some little tinpot on a security gate who will not let them in due to elves and saved peas
