hi there,looking for directions to the above mentioned place .i am travelling down for a wedding and staying at the oatlands park hotel. we are leaving from scotland at about 0430 tomorrow morning so i know where i am going to birmingham but was wondering if anybody had a better alternativie than the m25.
any help and suggestions much appreciated

can’t think there is a sensible way to avoid M25 (M6-M42-M40-A34 Newbury- A339 Basingstoke-M3 to junction 1 and down onto the A3050?!) but don’t forget to bring fuel cause all the pratts down here are hoarding it

You COULD go M6-M42-M40- To High Wycombe, cut down through Maidenhead to Basingstoke-M3 to junction 1 and down onto the A3050
But to be honest neither route is likely to be any quicker than M40-M25
and both are a lot longer way round… only worth doing if the M25 is stuffed solid 
stick with the m25 because all your yuppies (how old, sound like del boy) will have all the back routes covered .
its not that bad its usually closed around that area but there you go
