I’m pretty sure the answer to this is no but here goes.

Is there any way to make a manual entry onto a digicard other than by using the function on a VU on insertion? Got told today that if you are a spare driver for the day or working in the yard that the clerks will enter the data manually on the computer system. :confused:
I’m pretty sure this just updates the companies records, doesn’t record anything onto my card itself and thus leaves me with a gap in my records. Anyone shed any light on this claim?

That would only update their records and in no way would it be part of your official record, it will not add the information to your card. the only way to make a manual entry that will be actually on the card is, as you say, by means of the manual input function on the VU.
