Digi Tacho Units?

Hi All,

So, as a newbie, I figured I should try to familiarise myself with some of the common Digi Tacho units… I don’t really fancy spending £££ lining some training companies pockets for this though, it doesn’t appear to be rocket science.

There seems to be some pretty helpful YouTube videos out there that give clear instructions. That, and it seems PDF downloads of the manuals are readily available.

So, can you old-hats advise on what makes/models some of the common digi tacho units are, and what software versions I should be looking for ?

Two plus years on and I have only encountered Siemens digital tachographs so far.

Yeah most of the videos are the Siemens units, they seem pretty straighforward. Is it still on version 1.4, or does it not actually tell you that anywhere ?

Stoneridge tachos are really easy to use too. Hardest part is remembering how to get your card out if you’ve not been using one for a while
