Hello, Just after a bit of advice, i was in a rental truck yesterday, put my card in went through the motions everything ok , comes to end of the day eject card end uk and the usual, cards pops out, but no print out and the head display said no data, so is the head up the swany or me card?.

Could be either I would have thought, you’d need to put your card in another vehicle or card reader to be sure.

Thanks for the reply Tachograph, I thought as much i will go to me mates at weekend and stick me card in his reader, ive got the dreaded man flu at the moment so don,t plan to work this week.

Tachomaster or similar packages may skip vehicles not registered to the company. If they right click the date and select expecting data and resync it will appear by magic

It will say no data when you try and do a driver printout without a driver card in too.

Thanks Trubster I think the rental might have gone back not to sure though as the idiots won,t returns me calls typical silly sussex mate, wish i was rich enough and head back to North Essex.

As a matter of interest, why would you want to do a print out in the first place? If you are paid off the printout then my question is moot and I perfectly understand your need for one, also if you’ve had an infringement I again could see the point, but barring those two scenarios I’m constantly perplexed by colleagues who insist on doing a printout at the end of every shift when the information is there with a few button pushes.

Some companies tell drivers to do a printout at the end of every shift, it doesn’t make sense I know but…

I.m afraid i have do one for me own records as i,m a dumb arse agency driver working for a crap agency cause i don.t lick arse :smiley:

Thats why me username is lost all the firms where i live pay crap money i,m well lost in silly sussex an outsider if ya like, Me be an Essex boy :laughing: funny how they take on Polish drivers and Lithuanian.
