Digi Card break times

I have a question at the end of a shift and having removed your card when reinserting it the next day does it automatically assume uve been on your daily rest or do you have to tell it?

It will ask you if the time you removed it was the end of your shift - once you answer yes or no it then knows how much break you have taken - its like a manual entry -

It is assumed, you will see the time marked on a printout with a question mark next to it.

Also when you insert your card at the start of a shift it does show the previous ejection time and asks if it was the end of the shift. You choose Yes and press OK or select No and make a manual entry to cover the time from removing the card and actually finishing work and then select yes to the end of shift question. It also asks you to confirm the start of shift time so confirming an end and start of shift time means the time in between that is regarded as rest.

Incidentally, you mean rest not break in the thread title. Rest and break are different with different requirements. Rest is usually between shifts while breaks are always during the shift. It’s best to know the difference, due to the different requirements for each, and I just thought I would point it out as you originally posted this in the Newbies Forum so you might indeed be a newbie.
