Love the way they big the job up and how great it is except, they forget the most important thing the PAY !!! How convenient it’s obviously very poor.

Yes it’s totally annoying. Surely worth a phone call though?

Greenford is £34,760

I worked at Stanton on nights about 10 years ago. Was a guy called Tremayne I think back then in charge. Always looked after me, sorted problems out etc. If we hadn’t moved to Felixstowe I would never have left

Strong work/life balance – most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, 9 hour shifts per day, and typical starts from 5/6pm.

Yeah, no.

Also nothing about OT rates/weekends rate etc. Only pay for CPC which is worth what, £50 a year?

Currywurst the oracle…

They don’t mention day shift multidrop at all. But you saw a line about sometimes un/loading your own vehicle, and there it is. You’re just a workshy , unemployable, steering wheel attendant.

I’m struggling to see what the issue is here. Yes the job posted in the OP says “nights” in the heading but when you read the description is clearly for a day position doing multidrop starting at 7/8am - simple admin error me thinks and not really a big problem in the grand scheme of things. I do agree its annoying there is no mention of pay in the advert but DHL aren’t known for being slave merchants in that regard so a simple call or email could do the trick to find out.

The job in the second post down is same as above but night trunking starting at 5/6pm and mentions work/life balance as you’ll be doing 9 hours, while that sort of start time would be my own worst nightmare it will suit plenty down to the ground.

I am surprised the tedious and repetitive “warehouse duties” or “site labourer” quotes didn’t make an appearance within his post!

With a 9hr shift it’s worked fine for me for years. Get up around 10-11am, the ability to get stuff done you need to get done during the day which you’d not be able to get done when working during the day without taking time off, get to spend time with the missus, see the kids and have tea then off to work.

the job is in Eastleigh…perhap’s Blue Estate’s next port of call?
did they mention the red/yellow/black uniform? i’m on dhl but we’ve avoided it so far

no,won’t happen at our place simcor. our Customer insists we wear ‘their’ uniform,as they pay our wages, and everything else…that’s why we have Merc’s and not the nice yellow Volvo’s.zero chance of driver-facing cameras either
