Did anyone see it , David Tennant played him brilliantly to the point of I thought Des was sat in my lounge , he looked like Des , spoke like him and the same mannerisms, a brilliant actor .
That cold and hard stare gave me goose pimples, spine chilling acting .
I saw Dennis Nilsen described as “one of Britain’s worst serial killers” but surely that should be “one of Britain’s best serial killers”? 
Watched first episode last night, good drama.
I’ve always liked that Dan Hayes guy as an actor, who plays the copper.
He was the actor who also played Ronnie Biggs, another good series, if you ain’t seen it check it out.
I was reading some reviews on Twitter and was listening to the radio, there were people claiming that too many cigarettes were being smoked, it was the late 80’s, most people smoked, and this bloke had 12 bodies in his wardrobe, it was even in part of the plot story when the new governor stopped smoking in the visitors hall and DES had it changed by Brian Masters persuasion.
The bit that got to me was when it was reported that he used to get the bodies from under the floorboards, wash and dress them, and prop them up on the sofa to watch tv with him. 
Then the prosecution managed to convince the jury he was not mad?
Really? 
Yeah superb series, and David Tennant was something else as Des.

Have to say the films made about the Essex Drug Gangs had me cowering in fear just watching them.How could anyone acting a part be that bleedin scary.
