We’ve got a diddy 14m reach long prong for rivers and ponds it projects about 6’ beyond the rear of the trailer.

777 demolition have a pair of EX1200 long reach’s with a 60m reach :open_mouth: they are collosal things but they have telescopic booms.

Most of the other long reach demo gear has a standard boom and dipper that the machine will travel with and be used in a conventional manner for dealing with bulk excavation / loading. The long reach jib with extra knuckle has a large cradle and travels on a trailer by itself.

I read in earthwork mag a few months back of a firm had “I think” a 90meter one
Will dig it out and find out… I think a few video on you tube of one

Not used for demolition but definitely a long reach.

I nicked these off a mates (JR Tetley) website. They must be a few years old now but as far as I know he still runs the ECX along with a similar looking one with double drive.

Cheers

Spot on Neilf there some overhang on that

Bit naughty that, without a marker on the back.

More to the point, what self-respecting abnormal load driver either doesn’t carry marker boards or is too idle to fit them??

I only started driving my my eight-leg hiab wagon just over six months ago but it’s fully kitted out with all the markers and lights that I’m likely to need. Unmarked overhang is just another reason for the VOSA boys to pounce…
