Olog, I think he means he physically lost it, so doesn’t have the details to logon.

I agree, but every interview for driving jobs I’ve been to they want to see your license before anything else, and understandably so. Anyone who turns up and says ‘sorry mate, lost it’ is going to be pointed towards the gate. Equally, saying that he’s sent off for a replacement but it’s not here yet will have the same result.

Physically lost it is then…
Totally agree about being shown the gate Olog, you only get one chance to make a first impression. Even on the gate!
Clean is what its says, clean, nothing on your licence.

Don’t have a licence at the moment. Lost it
If you can’t log into the government website because you’ve forgotten your driver number you will find it on your DQC and digi card.

I don’t think a legal or official definition is available. It’s quite a vague and subjective area. I would say clean = no active points. Why DVLA allow them to remain for a certain period I’m not sure - but when viewing your details via the new online system, they are cleared immediately upon expiry.
So you are saying after 3 years they are no longer in the system when you log in to dvla?
Why not give it a go and put us all out of our misery? I know I don’t have any currently but I’d be interested to know is all.
I’ve lost mine so can’t check it lol but would love to find out from someone who is in similar situation
You laugh out loud when you lost your licence?
Don’t believe you.
