Today in Brierley Hill
seen leaving aldwarke works just tippers scrap
saw this cat powered foden tipping at willenhall today
This motor is no longer around , it was destroyed by some spiteful jodrell who set fire to it not long after Dennis had finished a major restoration.
420 ■■■■■■■ been driving this pulls like a train once you get in 5th on wards
Foden 8 wheel tipper from RL Noble & Son Ltd of Leeds from around 1992. It had a 265 Rolls and was an ex Tilcon lorry.
Another Foden that RL Noble of Leeds ran.
Bought from an owner driver in Oldham and originally in green.
It was then treated to a new Townend Steel body and was painted in the fleet colours
Noble’s sold this particular lorry 3 years ago and I spotted it last week working on the M25 widening in London

To be honest mate, im not sure.(i no its a 235hp, duno if you can tell from that?) Not had chance to get the cab over. Its hardly stoped since i got it. I like the cab to, very basic, but just means less to go wrong to me.lol.

You may well be right. It wont win any land speed records, but it pulls fine. Done 12 loads this week, so im happy enough so far.
