It’s a bit off route though isn’t it, I’ll be going northbound once I’m out of Wales. I’m going to have to find one around brum I think.
It will be a 19 mile round trip from the Almondsbury interchange.
Yeah, no way man my gaffer would go mental.
Not only that surely from Swansea to Litchfield you’d go via the Heads of the Valley road and M52 etc etc.
Yes mate your right I’ve been looking at the route and that is probably what I will do. Never been that way before, could do with a bit of scenery after doing pretty much the whole of the M4!!
This place jet washes trucks, real people, just off M42 Jct 9, where you’ll come off for Lichfield, don’t know the prices, but always see tankers from Kingsbury in there:

If you come off at J12 on the M5 theres an Esso garage on the First roundabout you come to (less than half a mile from the Mway). There’s a Jetwash there with enough room to do your truck in about six 2 minute washes, would cost around 12 quid and you would need to move the truck a few times (and turn it around once) to get it done. Or you could probably do the unit for around four quid (theres an area just outside the Mcdonalds next door that you could drop the trailer) . Depends on how fast you work
Seems like an awful lot of work, plus I don’t want to get back into my office with wet shoes and then have to put them back on again after I’ve shunted the unit

Can I ask you what made you pick your name? I’m a bit of a fan of the Big Bang theory on E4 and there was an episode on there the other day with reference to Shrodingers cat, I had never herd of it before and I thought they mustn’t be on about that bloke from truck net so I done a bit of research on it when I was bored
Boring answer is that I really love Quantum Physics.
The Schodingers Cat theory is that when you have an equal chance of anything being in any number of states (a cat in a box being dead or alive = two states) then the only thing that makes that state a fact is when you check it (seems simple until you read into it, it will blow your mind how complicated it can get).
The (theoretical) cat was actually brought in to disprove the theory (ecause you could argue that the cat would know it was alive) but actually became used as a simplified way of explaining it.
If you read Bill Brysons “A History of Nearly Everything” it will blow your mind on a hell of a lot of science subjects (astronomy is amazing) and maybe give you the impetous to read into things that may not have occured to you before.
Maybe its my rebellious side, after all if no-one was out there with a radar gun or speed cam no-one would be speeding.

I’m in to it mate, deep deep thinking. I read that Einstein wrote a letter to Shrodinger about the cat in the box and Einstein was trying to disprove it but he had Einstein stumped, or something like that.
Just a bit of an update as well. I got a re load out of port Talbot for Sutton in the end and the truck is still minging lol.

Is there not a directory of truckwashes? Perhaps we should start one.
To your question mate yes
eurotruckwash.com/truck.aspx
But it’s not that good
Starting up one is pretty good I think
