Evening all,

After 17 years in a different career outside the transport industry, I’m taking early retirement shortly and I’m thinking about doing some driving in the short term. I have a C+E licence that lapsed on my 45th birthday, but I didn’t renew because I wasn’t using it (I drove all manner of trucks for 14 years prior to leaving the industry). In honesty, I’d quite like to renew my LGV licence, but can’t be arsed jumping through all the (expensive) hoops I’ll need to do to get it.

My question is…do I need a driver CPC to drive 7.5 tonners?

U haven’t lost your HGV send in a medical to get it put back on and as said above 35hrs cpc
