Hello all

Do you know what the typical day rate is? Supplying truck and tautliner trailer on 12 hour shift and max 350miles days, nights and weekends?

some pay £400 :laughing: some pay £450, i get £650 (fridge) :wink: thats for a 12hr days

But never enough.

We use a lot of bulk tippers and the standard we pay is £600 per day for the shorter work. We do tend to pay higher for the longer distance work. £750-£800ish “per load” for a 400 mile round trip.

You should be able to work it out for yourself if you have done the CPC course. However, the latest costing table published by “Motor Transport” last week say that for a 44 tonne artic you need a minimum of £1.87 per mile at current fuel price.
