If that first photo is where I think it is…?
You are a naughty boy for taking pictures there.

Anyone who set sail in this old tub in the early 70’s would remember it well, especially if it was a tad rough at sea, set sail on that on a Sunday night once and got to Cherbourg Tuesday afternoon via Exeter where it anchored off for a spell hoping the sea would calm down, Buzzer

The Cocotin as we all called it

Evening Buzzer

We have had a dry day at last, it didn’t last long as it’s raining now but it was dry enough to turn yows and lambs out. About 25 left to lamb now so getting through them, they have done alright this year but the lambs are looking as fed up as us, nowhere dry to lay and constantly wet and cold, fingers crossed the weather will take up soon.
Busy at work still moving straw as the weather is preventing the turnout of stock so bedding is still in demand.

Cheers Wrighty.

Is that just one ■■■■■■■■ the cross? Or two joined up?
Looks long.

Grief!
Is that one long strap going on the diagonal?

Stupid censor!

The two crossing straps are long, bloody hard work getting them over on a windy day…

I bet they are. :grinning:
But needs must.

Nice to here from you Steve, the forecast here is a dry fortnight ahead and with a bit of sun and a breeze it will dry up a tad, have tidied my bunch to 14 in number and turned out in the home paddock, just got too worm & blackleg next week and turn out for Summer, dont look too shabby as the oldest is 12mo, still looking for a few more Buzzer

I’m allowed apparently as I’m the official Snapper lol

Evening John

Your cattle are looking well, nice sight to see em outside getting some doctor green. We do have some grass but it’s far too wet to graze it with cattle at the moment, tomorrows job is mucking out cattle sheds but we are running out of places to tip the muck, fingers crossed the weather picks up.
Busy calving at the moment 4 embryo’s to calve this week with the first last night, a decent chunky calf that required a little pull but nothing to serious, he was up and sucked this morning so the job should be ok.

Cheers Wrighty.

Loaded hay near Tring.

I gave Chip hand to wash his last night as he was running a bit late quick cuppa & off to catch the boat en route Venice again

Parked in the French headquarters tonight lol

Andrew just nip through to Modane and up and over Cenis just like the good old days & save us loads of dosh, Buzzer

Hi Wrighty, If i had known you where at Tring i would have come and had a word with you, only round the coner at Leighton Buzard.
What i would like to know is how is that Iveco performing ? i did notice you said the backup was not good, Hopefully you don`t need to much of that lol, All the Best.

Evening Alpine

Colin sold the Iveco a couple of months ago, it broke down just before Christmas and required 6 new injectors. Not what you expect from a motor less than two years old, so he decided to get rid and cut his losses.
Yes I loaded at a farm in Drayton Beauchamp with hay for a dealer in Norfolk, our wagon and drag loaded there this afternoon as well.

Cheers Wrighty.

Good Evening Wrighty.
Thanks for the reply. Thought they may have been better than that ? We had a Stralis on demo some years ago but the cab build was crap, Thought the S Way may have been the answer ? not so by the looks of things then.
Stay safe all the best Webby,
