I got some stories I could tell⌠

Hi Jed and all the others,
Itâs good to see a few face pics on here, including Kwozzy, It brings back happy memories of the Gel on days.
Shirley and his long hair brought back the theme for Thunderbirds and his trade mark reply âyou plant potâ, and " Bye Bye⌠NOW.
Many a lonely night the sound of Thunderbirds in the CB used to wake me up.
Kwozzy had a trade mark saying also it was âYes Iâll have one more glassâ
I can remember one of the first trips I done for Buzzby it was going to Italy and I could hear a
few guys talking on the CB, as I got close they were shouting âDavies you on channelâ, not knowing it was me they
were shouting I just listened till I could see them coming up the road.
I answered and they asked âwho is itâ? I answered âPaulâ so the reply came back âPaul Whoâ?.
I started to explain but lost them very quickly.
A Few mins later I started to pick them up again, they were slagging me off for not talking to them,
and Buzzby was tacking any old sod on.
I forget where I loaded but had a quick turn round and Headed back home that day.
The next day I past a parking area in France where the three trucks were parked
having a break. Not knowing âthe rulesâ I hadnât put the CB on and by
the time I did they were going frantic trying to call me.
Well, we had to go through all the âwho is itâ? bit again âPaul Whoâ? was the next quistion and before I could give an answer I started to lose them.
Later that day I was parked up for a break and they past me without spotting me. I followed them all the
way home listening to thethree off them talking about what were going to
say to me and Buzzby when they got back.
I laughed it off but every time I was asked âwho is itâ? again I answered Paul Who,
that is how the name âPaul Whoâ stuck with me.
Most name are self explanatory, but how did you get yours?.
Jed I could be up for a drink one day soon. Maybe during the Xmas holidays?.

Mine was Jed because of the Beadle surname, started as Jeremy then got shortened. Before I knew it it was on my door, together with the ânewâ PGS (porky git squadron) logos - I actually prefer the name Jed to my own.
London Markâs started off as the Bermondsy Bullit, but he didnât like that cos it was South London, so it got shortened to Bullit.
Do you ever see anything of the Derrick Int drivers? Ken & Shaun came up to the do we had at Tuttyâs local in 2007. If yes hope thet are well.

Hi Pat, that photo of the Scania you put on earlier,well here it is before paint job and before cab conversion.( Apparently cab was extended so Buzzer could fit the name on )
