Wrighty that looks like a good set up of pens and is what you need for easy handling. Not been raining here all the time but we have had a fair bit but not as much as you by the looks, but glad not to have any thing outside at the moment. Had a small opp on my foot this afternoon to straighten a hammer toe so not fully operational for ten days.
On another note here is our intrepid photographer “snapper” tipping in Denmark this AM, cheers Buzzer.
So that was Snapper flying accross Fyn ystdy afternoon then, that fast I couldn’t get the reg plate! Brit trucks rare as hens teeth in these parts nowadays.
Sorry all, this is out of the posts however I am sure Buzzer would not mind if I asked this question. SHORT WALK is EURO DRIVE SERVICE LEJRVEJ 4 PADBOURG still going I did a bit! in 98 for them.
Well like I said Buzzer it’s bloody wet up ere, only the second time in 22yrs I haven’t got to work because of the weather, the first time was because of snow. Thankfully all our cattle passed the TB test, so pressures off now until they are tested again at turnout…, oh well that’s me sat in front of the fire watching the racing it’s a hard life eh.
Cheers Wrighty.
Well it definitely looks like you need an amphicar now Wrighty, we are not having so much rain down here that’s for sure. Glad all stock are inside, bought four more yesterday at Frome but had them brought home as had a foot operation on Thursday so did not risk driving the truck, got moaned at anyway for driving me pickup. Not suffering any pain though so managing to do me chores even though I have a pair of crutches which I have not had to use as of yet, you better go to church tomorrow and pray for sunshine to dry you all out. These cattle got a taste for that beet now and holler if I go any where near there barn now, cheers Buzzer.
Might have to miss church in the morning and get to work, internet says it should stop raining in the early hours, so hopefully the roads will be open a couple of hours later…Cattle are looking well Buzzer that shed looks a treat, there’s only one problem with cattle sheds, they’re never big enough…!
Cheers Wrighty.
This is not one of my usual sarcastic replies. This is better than the Archers. I shall soon stop taking the Farmer and Stockbreeder. I now know all about cattle. Keep it up Buzzer and Wrighty. Regards Charlie.
To DBP, not sure but think all such agencies in Padborg gone as arse been kicked out of what was their bread and butter, ie providing a springer to get the truck 10 hours south normally. New rules mean the 2nd man has to complete the whole trip has effectively put them out of business. As a footnote Norweigan John who ran one such agency died of ill health a few years ago.
Thank short walk, that is exactly what I did ,I could call myself “springer” in stead of deckboypeggy as the were both hard work…
Well I know Kate Adie delivers the milk in Leigh Park, Buzzer.
Well Buzzer I didn’t make it in yesterday fortunately, our yard at Lancaster was under several feet of water. Cars floating, garage flooded a right bloody mess, back in today to chaos and no electric.Tipping Manchester now off to Bellshill, oh the joys…
Cheers Wrighty.
Wrighty am I glad I live on a hill, where do you start a clean up like in the picture I have posted here tonight from ■■■■■■■■ luckily no humans or animals were lost but what a mess to have to clean up, feel sorry for any one with this situation, Buzzer.

Not good at all Buzzer, one of our lads has had is car flooded at work and also his house in Kendal, sickening so close to Christmas as well. Parked up below Carlisle tonight, and it’s wet and windy again…
Cheers Wrighty.
