Hi Keith, Yes I have and have also overhauled my engine in his yard as he was so busy, good guy Dave nothings too much trouble, we had a bit going about him on Yorkshire companies a bit ago, page 12 I think, some great photos on there of his recovery trucks.

+1 for Dave Blockley and his team. Top outfit. When our Claire died I needed to get her car moved to a secure location until I could sort things out, Dave Blockley was there for me quick and lively with a small recovery vehicle…No charge. Top team.
I agree with the remarks above, I first met Dave Blockley when he attended the Geordie truck show at Witton castle about 25 years ago, he asked me to take a photo of one of his trucks and since then I have taken a number of photo’s of his other recovery trucks at different shows and also at his yard at Drighlington, I last spoke to him last year at Barnard Castle truck show.regards prattman.

Now then Dennis there’s nobody who runs motors that can say they never had a problem,we had a gearbox go on Kendal fell a few Saturdays ago a young lad came out to tow us in from Mcadams an Ingleton lad who I used to take to school 12 years ago I wrote a letter to the local police saying he wasn’t a bad lad after he got into a bit of bother n I was right he’s a bloody good driver he rolled up about midnight n I rode back with him Coach on under lift the only thing amiss it was a Swedish Bedford, K T S are still in the conference league Dennis
