Great insight into his career, the team flying to Barcelona in concorde for the champions league final, he took some abuse for a long time after the world cup incident
Even if you don’t like him or the team it’s good tv well worth watching
Of course you’ll have the die hards saying I would never watch it, O yes you will
From not a utd fan

Was always a fan of Beckham when he played for England, his long precision crossing was second to none, and goal scoring off free kicks…the qualifier in 2001 against Greece.

He was a virtual national pariah in 98 when he got sent off against Argentina, (which was ott incidentally ).they even had an effigy of him being hanged outside Upton Park afterwards (his first league game after World Cup)
He could have went abroad but he stayed put with those who should not be mentioned …and faced out all the abuse,.then he became a national hero to most English football fans in his international carreer.
I admire him for that.
I’ll be watching it…
Did anybody watch the Peter Crouch doc on Netflix
?
‘Tell me Peter,.what would you have been if you had not become a footballer’’

‘‘A Virgin’’
The term ‘Punching above his weight’ personified .
Even ‘God’ has been watching the documentary.
winner for Netflix. Beckham, the documentary in which David and Victoria Beckham open up their lives, had Netflix’s biggest audience of the year in the UK by a wide margin
