Damm ! I'll be taking up residency to the north soon

Just called in from home after doing a Ben & Jerry delivery to see what’s next ?
Load 08.00 am in Newark NJ for Toronto … again :astonished:
These Canadian runs very far and few between but in the past 3 weeks it’s been Toronto, St Jean Sur, Montreal, now another Toronto. I actually like doing them, each run takes a full two days and keeps me out of the way.

Its about time you saw the light. I saw one of your crowd up this way the other week crossing out of New Brunswick in to Maine at the border at Houlton. First time I’ve seen a Foodliner truck in the Maritimes.

Is it worth moving to Canada than what’s the legal driving hours and what’s the pay like

Was at Ben & Jerry on Tuesday 27 of May to pick up a load for Henderson NV and saw a Foodliner when I left. Would have stopped, but Pat was on the way or in Canada at that time. Would have been nice to hear some British English after one year in the States

It’s always a nice run going east from the west, 3000+ miles from California and about 2800 back home to Vegas.

Tom

Who do you drive for Tom ?
We have about 3 -4 deliveries a day to B&J in St Albans and 3 a week to the Waterbury factory. You’ll know if you see my truck, it’s a Cascadia with a union jack plate on the grille.

So is moving to America or Canada a good idea

No it’s crap that’s why most of us are still here :unamused: Just the lack of traffic , no diesel thefts , the ability to park where you want , plus being respected as a truck driver should be enough to put anybody off . Oh , and Canadians are great people

I drive for Holland Enterprises Fargo ND (but live in Vegas  )
We have about 300 trucks and I was in St. Albans for the first time in seven months. Red Cascadias, think you’ve probably seen them there. Been in CT, NY, NJ, PA in the last months.
At Holland you still have long trips, not like other companies in the States. Had several 3000+ miles trips in the last months.

If I come in that area again, I will look for the plate.
