Where is VOSA when they could have a " Field Day " ?
Maybe not a damaged truck ,- more like a skip with a roof.
This ramshackle tractor and trailer had already travelled 20 miles from the Sedbergh farm to Crooklands Auction,
situated at the M 6/A 65 junction. No,…he hadnt been on the M 6 Motorway , thank God . I caught up behind a long line of (very) slow-moving traffic 1/2 a mile before the Auction. This was the reason for the queue. One of the wheels had already come adrift , and the (loaded with cattle !!!! ) trailer was dog-legged behind the ancient farm tractor. I was driving towards the Auction , so I followed the unstable trailer. Just as the farmer turned into the Auction entrance ,........a SECOND wheel ( from the other side ) parted company from the axle !! After struggling to reverse to a dock to unload the cattle , the farmer then used the wash bay to clean-out the knackered trailer . :unamused: :unamused: Well,........the waters FREE at the Auction.
I wonder what VOSA would have done if this were not a farmer`s vehicle ■■
I’m guessing there’s damage to be found in the connection between the truck and the trailer somewhere
was driving back from the first swim of the year when I saw this poznan-registered daf had lost it’s trailer. probably going on the ferry to finland, the port is just around the corner.
sorry for the quality of the picture, have been meaning to buy a new phone but the current one just won’t die on me
