Hi there. I’m looking at 2 cf450 daf both brand new euro 6. What I need to know is why has one got a stack and the other hasn’t? I assume they both regenerate? Any help appreciated thanks

What type of chassis ?
Rigid or artic ?
If rigid the one with the stack probably is a landfill spec
Where as the other is a highway sepec
Sent from my truck
Ask the dealer they should know the spec and be able to help
Tare weight.
Most of the tipper hauliers around here are going for under slung exhausts on new euro 6s, saying they are lighter. Also spec
ing, discs on the back again down to weight rather than preference.

If I remember correctly a stack is an optional extra, I stick with the down swept exhaust on my hookloaders and they are no bother on landfill sites, they don’t kick dust up either.
