DAF cabin lock alarm

Hi fellas hope you can help again, last night the truck horn started alarming it was the cabin lock turned off battery isolater and will look tomorrow when it stops raining. anything simple to check first thanks

Rain + DAF = problems! Firstly thing I’d check is the cheapest things; make sure the doors are closing properly especially the often overlooked passenger side, check you haven’t got a seatbelt trapped.

After that I’ve no clue I’m afraid.

Mine did the same one night, Pull the wire off the back of the horn, usually located under the nearside of the bumper, left it disconnected for a few days and put it back on and no more bother until the truck was sold.
From memory it is only a warning to lift front grill and knock the gear lever over towards reverse if a manual when tilting the cab.

replaced proximity switch in lock assembly and all good thanks
