card would not eject from unit, eventually after pushing the draw it did, downloaded card and it had not recorded the days activities, however when i completed a vehicle download all was recorded. this has now turned into an D3 infringement. this has happened to 4 other drivers on 2 other trucks so its not a card fault. And this is an intermittent problem. anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is
Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago where I got back into the unit after unloading and my card was out. It had ejected on its own and given the message “Security breach”. I then put it back in and had the message “card not closed” and got an infringement for it.
I’m quite sure that was a fault with my card. I’ve since given the chip a clean and not had an issue since.
If I remember rightly there is a code given with the message on the tacho head. That should enable you to pinpoint the error message. Strange that it’s happened on 2 different trucks recently though.
