I’m going to france, zurich, milan, venice, rome, turin
and wanted to now what currency I will need. I thought
just euros but I guy said he thinks zurich takes euros but
take some swiss francs as he was not 100%.
The Gnomes in Zurich will take any hard currency,but will give a rubbish rate of exchange into Swiss Francs (CHF) .I’d take some Swiss to see you through,bearing in mind that it’s a rather expensive place to buy anything.Have a good trip.

How about using a card? How long are you in swissyland? I normally get a very good rate taking euros out of a cash machine when I’m in europe, Swiss might be the same deal.

In that case, get some Swiss franks. 50Sf should do you, 100 will plenty.
Anywhere on the autobahn and plenty of places off it will take Euros, but the exchange rate they’ll give you is horrendous.
