Hi can someone advise me on what I should do with regards to the CPC.
I have my C+E passed prior to 1997. I believe all I need to do is the periodic CPC is that correct?
also can I just complete a module then in a couple of months can I complete the other 4 modules or do all 5 modules need
to be done during a one week period?
Thanks
You have the option of doing the initial and then test OR the periodic 35 hrs. The initial plus test is difficult to book if you’re entitled to the periodic. 35 hrs, it’s no cheaper and a risk of failure. So as you say yes it’s better to do the 35 hrs
No need to do all 5 days in one week.
The cheapest online is £35 a day.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I’ll book my CPC course once I get my license back.
Do you need the physical driving licence to do an online driver cpc course
I just did an online CPC course a couple of weeks ago and I was required to send photos of the front and back of my photocard prior to the course. When the Zoom call started I was also asked to show my photocard to the camera.

You need to have some way in for the training provider to log your hours with DVSA - as you’ve got a pre-1997 licence you’ve got C1 entitlement which is independent of the C+E medical-dependant entitlement, so you can do your DCPC now and it can be logged against your driving licence.
If you don’t have a current valid licence with at least C1 on it to show the TP, you’ll need a tacho card (obviously you don’t have the other option for entry to the course which is a current DQC).
The TP has only about 5 working days to upload your hours, so you could do he course then send off your licence - make sure you take a copy of front and back of it before you do
Because I have C1 on my licence I could do the 35 hours CPC training. I did it online over 5 days with easy cpc £250 inclusive of all fees. I had sent my licence to the DVLA so they accepted a passport as photo ID. At the end of the course they uploaded my details and my driver’s CPC card was automatically sent to me, arrived a few days later.
