CPC QUESTION

Hi everyone, currently driving lorries and I’m in need of 21 hours of CPC training. My question is :if I applied for bus license and passed the theory and so on, would any of it count as CPC for C+E?
I personally think it wouldn’t but I though I asked.
Thanks in advance

Simple answer = NO

Thanks Rog. I sort of expected it but I was hoping wouldn’t.
Cheers

Why not?

I’m doing my DCPC and was told that I would b able to use the hours for my HGV and PSV, have I been mislead?

Hi All,
My question is this, If a driver needs to have a full 5 days training to renew his CPC, is it the law that all 5 days are on a different course subject.
My reason for the question, when I took my CPC I sat with drivers who had done the same course more than once to make up the 5.
Before anyone jumps on me, I see no sensible reason for doing so but that would not answer the question.
3 Trainers I had during my 5 courses all said yes you can.

PS, When my 5 are due in 2 years time I will be calling it a day anyway, think at 74 I will have had enough, cheers, Harvey

You can do the same cheapest course 5 times to get the 35 hours = very boring

Thanks ROG, Yes I agree, very boring.
I live near Stranraer, a lot of the local drivers look at what courses are coming up near by that sit in with there work and have a choice, repeat locally or make a long trip ( 60-80 miles ) to find another course, time, fuel and money v bordom. Harvey
