Hi everyone.
I finally secured a job with a local builder’s merchant after passing my category C test in April. So far it has been fantastic and I’m really enjoying driving their 26 tonne Iveco Stralis dropside truck with mounted crane. The company has already put me through 7 hours of periodic CPC training as part of my induction free of charge.
However, I tried to check my CPC training record at gov.uk/check-your-driver-cp … ning-hours and it appears that DVA licences in Northern Ireland can’t use this system. Does anyone know if DVA has an equivalent system online or will I have to call them to check that my training hours are logged?
Cheers.

Got UK driving licence ?
Yes, it’s a UK licence but issued by DVA in Northern Ireland, so I can’t use the link above. I’m assuming DVA in Northern Ireland have a similar online system to view logged hours, but I can’t find it anywhere. Any ideas?

Possibly this link…

With a little trawling, I got this:
Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC | nidirect
I hope it’s in the right ball-park for you.

Thanks dieseldave, I had seen these bits before, but there’s no mention of how to view your periodic training hours online. I have emailed DVA about it, but no reply yet. They may not even have an online system for this, as we’re usually about ten years behind the curve with government stuff here in Northern Ireland
a lot of people got caught out last year when the rush was on to get the first lot of CPC training sorted. Some people were attending courses that were never registered - the trainers took the money and never registered the 8 hours training because they couldn’t as they wernt registered. Something tells me you can’t check this yourself but a properly registered training company can check it for you . Not sure where your based but Bush Training outside Coleraine will be able to help . Give them a call and ask for Belinda or Ray, Ray = owner , Belinda =his wife but does all the CPC paperwork.

It turns out DVA don’t have a system for checking your periodic training hours online. The best they can offer is to tell you over the phone or via email.
