Hi.
I currently working as a bus driver, but I want to go for HGV driving. My CPC for lorries will expire next month. So far I’ve taken 14 hours of CPC periodic training provided by my employer. These 14 hours were dedicated for PCV drivers. I know that I’ll have to get remaining 21 hours on my own. Unfortunately training centres in my area offer CPC dedicated only for HGV drivers. Can I mix up my 14 hours of PCV CPC with 21 of HGV CPC?

A DCPC periodic training course is good for either HGVs or PCVs, so yes those 14 hours will count towards the 35 hours periodic training for goods vehicles.
DCPC course hours dedicated to PCVs can only be given to a driver with a PCV licence - same with LGVs but a driver with both PCV & LGV can use the hours for both PCV & LGV
