If he feels not having a DQC is the same as not having a valid driving licence (which it essentially is) then you’ll have unknowingly made him commit one of the Seven Deadly Sins of an O-licence holder and you might need to brace yourself for some serious grief.

That page doesn’t mention lack of a driver’s CPC card, and in any event there is no obligation on the TM to notify the TC of the situation.

I’m a bit puzzled by this…

“(b) Exceeding, during a daily working period, the maximum daily driving time limit by a margin of 50% or more without taking a break or without an uninterrupted rest period of at least 4.5 hours”.

What is an uninterrupted rest period of at least 4.5 hours?

Uninterrupted rest period of at least 4.5hrs?
Thats my normal coffee break. . But youre right Harry, if the “LorryLawyer” is writing this, on their website, the link to their clientele…?

That “Lorry Lawyer” link was just a convenient illustration of the “Seven Deadly Sins”, the full technical description of these issues can be seen in “Statutory Document No. 1” , the link below takes you to this. The “Uninterrupted rest period of at least 4.5 hours” issue is on page 10, section 33.1(b)
