Read one article that stated first one fell through the rotted floor of trailer, second one got out same way when vehicle stopped.

Reports from the press indicate that the second cow fell of two miles later and that lorry drivers helped by placing vehicles so that the poor animals could be contained.
I think the DVSA will be having a close look at the operator’s maintenance compliance since it appears that this was the result of a bodywork failure.
