I just use debit card , I guess the last time I carried cash was pre- covid ,( though it was a pain at Costco not having cash ) , struggling to think where else it mattered

You’re right though Dozy, our generation has seen the best of times, sad though in many ways, we’re old enough to have known the old country before it was deliberately destroyed by a treasonous political class and the ruination of institutions incl govt via the long march through them.

I’m 71 and can honestly say looking back that I wouldn’t have lived in any other time span - interesting times - I wouldn’t say easier because they weren’t but just less restricted and less complicated. We didn’t have professional offence takers or a gadget sitting on the kitchen counter listening to our conversations.
Let’s see how long it takes before somebody jumps in yapping about boomers
