Correct info@ trucknet.com

Today I’ve received an email at work from, supposedly, the address in the title. This is a copy of it. I have deleted the senders phone number and have posted my reply.

I find this offensive, totally unfounded, and will take legal action if this continues.

Email : correctinfo@trucknet.com
Query : Peter Smythe Truck Driver Training - HGV / PCV Driving School, Lorry Driving Courses, Midlands Your so fuil of crap you talk about misleading info HGV ? no such thing for years . You blab on about bieng the only accredited in your area anyone can be accredited if they decide to apply … your a joke in the training world and be aware you seem to like to slag of middle men when you have subbed in instructors when you cant cope wanna discuss it ? 07958 xxxxxx

and my reply is:

Not quite sure what your problem is.

Everyone recognizes HGV as the same as LGV. But HGV is still used on a regular basis — which is why we continue to use the term.

Suggest you try becoming an accredited centre before you make such comments about “anyone can be accredited!. You clearly don’t have any understanding of the system.

As for being a joke in the training world, don’t know where that comes from.

I slag off DISHONEST middlemen. They are the only ones and surely they deserve it.

When have I subbed? Please tell me.

Don’t wish to spend my time answering pathetic accusations that have no foundation. Suggest you check your facts before you continue this line of correspondence.

The email header is a spoof. Open the full email properties to see the real origin of it. I imagine it’s been sent through sharpmail or similar.

Click on reply to it and see what address appears in the ‘to’ field. It won’t be the address it’s come from.

Well that is not on.

I agree with Peter on this (for a change).

Being an accredited centre is not just a case of filling the form in.

Slagging the middle men is fully justified as these guys are simply scum.

Hiring instructors to cover work is not the same as running a brokerage and misleading people.

Just checked out your web site peter s and looks nice!! but surely you are not as it states below!!

Secondly, we are the ONLY LGV training centre in Nottinghamshire accredited by the Driving Standards Agency. That’s right. No other trainer in the county is actually accredited by the DSA. Surely that’s worth thinking about? You can check this statement by searching:

dsa accredited lgv centre

You cant be the only one in notts■■?

Rob is right

If the email had come through our system it would have started like this
