Cool as [zb] !!!

Just bought myself THIS as i was a muppet and blew my old one up, it was 12v only and somebody snuck in my truck and swapped the 12v and 24v sockets around (ok ok i plugged it into the wrong one  )

Wont be a problem with this one though as its 12v/24v and it senses which one automatically in other words its idiot (me) proof and also flat batteries should be a thing of the past as its thermostatically controlled

Should keep the beer and milk nicely chilled :sunglasses:

How much Reef , if you dont mind me asking. I’m looking for one at the moment

Make sure you are ordering the 12v/24v/240v and not just the 12v/240v one though

I can get a Fridge freezer for my house for that :open_mouth:

I bought one similar to this in asda £40 I also plugged in to the 24v
Took it back and chan  ged for a new one. Happy days.

Shame about my Sony Laptop though. Had it on charge, started the motor and BANG

company called eurotherm(if memory serves)on strood industrial estate main importer/distributor for 12/24 fridges sell recon ones, got mine for about£50,that also had the option to warm stuff up,but put it to highcold n itd freeze yr milk!sold it to me mate when i stopped tramping, hes still using it,must be 10yr old now!

I bought one of these out of LIDL for £3o… WOrks a treat but is only 12v but have put a nice note on top saying 12V ONLY… wouldnt be paying £155 for one

Ive got a cheapo one from argos at the mo (since i killed my old one) and it really ■■■■■■ me off as i only have one 12v socket i have to unplug it to plug in my inverter for my lappy… The problem is that the insulation of it is so crap that after an hour of my inverter being plugged in the milk/beer/egg mayo/ham etc in my cooler is now room/cab temp and with the constant swapping of plugs there is also the increased chance of plugging inverter or cooler into the 24v by accident (not that i’d do something so daft  )

Its like the wife said to me if the house fridge packed up we wouldn’t hesitate going out and spending a couple of hundred on a new one as it is an essential part of modern day living, and seeing as i spend 4 nights a week in the cab then it is no different for me

Also if i did away with the cooler altogether and stopped frequently to buy coffee sarnies and other food daily (not to mention a cold one to finish the day off with) then i’d soon spend a hell of a lot more than a £155

I’ve worked on her enough to be allowed to buy the new hour guard off davey next week then i got to start persuading her that a new lappy is an essential part of modern day living too

I’ve given up on the microwave idea for now coz of the hard wiring problem

I’ve had my hours guard for a couple of weeks now…absolutely brilliant! Good luck with the laptop!

I bought a cheapy 12V fridge for about £40 off ebay recently (brand new) and that’s turned out to be a good buy too!

I’ve got a 12v coolbox that I got in Makro for about £12 (when on offer usually £30 or so) , OK so it’s not a fridge as such but it does keep the milk from turning to cheese and stops my sarnies from turning to toast.

It’s ideal for someone not doing nights out.

i bought a fridge many years ago in scanias in gent belgium.
put it in the truck and filled it with you know what.
next trip, herself decided to come with me and went to the supermarkets and bought all the nessessities that women buy.
she opened the fridge to put the butter and cheese in and[zb]whats this.
i had it full of cans as usual.
had to take some out to fit the butter and cheese in.
women done understand, thats my excuse anyway.
