I have a 1.5Lt Andrew James slow cooker it only pulls 70w so run it off a 24v/300w inverter chuck stuff in in morning by the time i park up a nice cooked meal awaits.
Btw if you go down the slow cooker route look on fleebay for some liners(saves on washing up) good luck.

Well worth it not much that cant be cooked in one even do jacket spuds in mine.

0 The slow cooker is only 120w and will be plugged into the inverter via the hella. Found a way of keeping the lid secure using a plate holder.

Got one similar to that, as well as a couple of others here at home and one big advantage I see with this sort when it comes to moving it about a lot is that it doesn’t have a thin metal outer sleeve with the control switch on. That sort don’t last long if moving them about, the outer shielding distorts and falls apart.
I’m going to give this a go. Only 120watts so I reckon I’ll be fine with a 1000watt inverter. Just chuck what I want in in the morning and by the time I park up should be ready to eat. argos.co.uk/m/static/Product … 226559.htm
