Comunication problems

Not many of the drivers here can understand a word I say on the CB, so most of the time I don’t bother
There is one guy ‘Joe’ wno I run with and we never stop talking because he actually can understand English  . Another guy who likes to run with me is ‘Old Bob’ (about 67 years old), I try very hard to avoid him because I can reel out a sentance for 10 minutes and he will respond with “Oh really” which usually means ‘I don’t understand a word you are saying’
Last Monday morning I arrived at Wilmington MA ahead of Old Bob due to good planning. Once Old Bob arrived it turned out he had a collection in Georgetown MA and didn’t know how to get there  I knew the drop and had switched with him before so I offered again.
“If you don’t know where to go Bob, we can switch like we did before” I said.
“Oh Really” said Bob, “I’ve never been there”
“I know ! so if you want I will switch with you like we did before”
“When ? … I’ve never been there before”
“I know you havn’t, thats why we switched before”
“Oh really … I don’t know the place, … never been there”
I gave up and decided to draw a map and also write the directions down for him, I also read them to him, “Go north on 95 to exit 54 west, turn right at the top of the ramp, you are then on east main street, UFP (the company) is half a mile on the right”
“Oh really” said Bob.
I left him and headed for Mansfield MA for my reaload, thinking he would be in and out in less that 15 minutes and Georgetown was only 20 minutes from Wilmington. It took me an hour to get to my pick up and 45 minutes to get loaded, then 30 minutes to the Mass Pike, as I entered the Pike the phone rang and it was Old Bob, “Pat, I’m lost, … I can’t find east main street”
“Did you turn off 95 onto exit 54 and go right ?”
“Yeah … but I’ve gone miles”
'As soon as you turn right you are on east main street and I told you all that"
“Yeah but I phoned for directions anyway”

I GIVE UP :exclamation:
